G.R.S believes that the main objective of education should be to teach discipline as much as book knowledge. The community life here demands mental understanding and acceptable conduct from one and all. The school reserves the right to penalise, suspend and expel any student whose conduct is detrimental to the interest of the school. Three warning cards are issued to a student upon violating school rules, according to the gravity of offense.


  1. Every pupil must bring the Student’s Diary to school daily.
  2. Pupils should have a clean and neat full school uniform.
  3. All the members of the school staff are to be greeted and addressed with due respect and politeness at all places.
  4. English should be spoken in the school premises at all time in order to create a better environment in the study of English.
  5. Littering in any manner is strictly prohibited. All are expected to develop a keen civic sense. USE WASTE BINS PROVIDED.
  6. Any damage done to the School property shall be repaired by the pupil concerned.
  7. No student is allowed to leave the school campus during the school hours without the permission of the Principal.
  8. Pupils are responsible for their belongings. Ornaments and Jewelleries of any kind are not allowed in school. To prevent loss, umbrella, raincoats etc. should marked with the name of the child.
  9. Pupils should be fully equipped with the reading materials and exercise book etc.
  10. All students are expected to inculcate proper etiquette and behave accordingly at all times-whether within the school premises or outside.
  11. All students are to maintain decorum while proceeding to their respective classrooms from the morning chapel, Wednesday drill, music and special subject classes. 
  12. Use of cosmetics and hair colour is strictly not allowed.
  13. G.Rio School is declared tobacco free zone. Any student indulging in smoking, chewing pan, talab or any tobacco related products will be penalised and issued warning card.
  14. Use of intoxicated drinks and abusive contains like drugs, dendrite, weed, etc. are strictly prohibited. Any student found indulging in such behaviour will be expelled.
  15. No child suffering from a contagious disease will be permitted to attend class.
  16. Mobile phones or any electronic gadgets are banned in school. Once caught it will be confiscated and not returned.
  17. The Principal’s authority in matters of discipline is final.
  18. Attendance will be taken every period in the case of Senior Secondary Classes. It will be cross-checked with that of the class-teacher’s record.
  19. Truancy shall be recorded in the diary. They will be given time to study for one hour after 2:20 p.m. as a corrective measure.
  20. A student may be issued T. C. based on any of the following reasons: 
  •                            a)   Intimate boy - girl relationship.
  •                            b)   Activities such as immoral behaviour, theft & gambling.
  •                            c)   Negligence of class, cycle test, assessments, projects, school functions and activities.
  •                            d)   Disrespect towards the school authority, teachers and other staff.
  •                            e)   Producing bad influence on others.
  •                            f)    Assaults/threats on teachers and other staff members.
  •                            g)   Irregularity in payment of fees.
  •                            h)   Intentional destruction of school property.
